What are the actual opening and closing dates?

The restaurant opens in mid-May and closes late September. Please check our instagram page for most up to date information.

Are you guys open if it's raining?

We are open 7 days a week, rain or shine!

Do you take reservations?

At this time, we do not accept reservations or call-ahead seating. Seating is available on a first come first serve basis but don’t worry we have an amazing lounge with full service to eat in or have a drink while you wait for your table.

Can I book space for a private event?

Yes you can. We'd love to talk to you about your event. Please start by telling us a little about what you have in mind and we'll get back to you to go over the details. Event Inquiry Form.

Where can I park?

Parking is all metered. Please pay at convenient kiosks or by ParkMobile and other parking apps.

Can I bring Fido?

Dogs and other pets are not allowed at the Spot on the Dock, but we do have compostable take-home boxes if you’d like to bring treats home to your four-legged pals.

Can I drive my boat to Spot on the Dock?

There are no docks held for restaurant patrons, and most of the docks are reserved for seasonal slip holders. It is best to contact Ferry Dock Marina at 802 861 2019 to inquire about that day’s availability. Unfortunately boat parking is not guaranteed

How do I contact you?

Due to a high volume of calls we do not answer the phone during service. If you are trying to get in contact with us shoot us an email at thedock@thespotvt.com and we will be back in touch asap!

How can I purchase a Gift Card?

You can purchase one here. You can also purchase them at the Spot at Hula or The Spot on Shelburne Road. Cards are valid at any of our locations.

Do you guys have Lobster Rolls?

Yes we do!

Do you have GF, vegan, vegetarian, etc options?

We work hard to accommodate dietary restrictions. That said, with the amount of volume we put out from our small kitchen there is always risk of cross contamination. Our whole staff is well educated on the menu and products we use - they will be happy to answer any specific question you may have!
